Dear D –
Did you know that Africa is projected to make up 25% of the world’s population in 2050? Moreover, African-American business owners are worth more than $65 billion. We can leverage these figures by building a positive image and brand of the continent and using social media to capture the youths. We have the power to pull the continent out of poverty and that power lies in creating a unified bond among ourselves. We should all follow in the footsteps of African tourist icon Ikechi Uko, and promote our very own. Africans in the diaspora and in the continent need to make Africa their top tourist destination. The 21st Century has been dubbed Africa’s century and the century of renaissance. What do you make of the ‘Go Back to Africa Campaign?’ Share.
